Delta unveils next-gen Delta One suites
Delta Air Lines has unveiled its next-generation Delta One business class suites, set to debut on its upcoming Airbus A350-1000 aircraft while also expanding the product to its Airbus A330-200 and A330-300 fleet.
The new suites are the result of a two-year design process backed by extensive customer feedback, aiming to deliver greater comfort, privacy and personalization. The A350-1000, expected to enter service in early 2027, will feature a higher proportion of premium seating, with Delta aiming to further strengthen its position in the business class segment.
For the first time, Delta will also introduce Delta One suites with sliding privacy doors on its A330-200 and A330-300 aircraft as part of a full cabin refurbishment program. The upgrades are part of a broader investment exceeding $1 billion to modernize the airline’s fleet.
The new Delta One suites include longer flat-bed seats, enhanced storage options, wireless charging and larger 24-inch high-definition seatback screens. Passengers will also have access to Bluetooth connectivity, improved lighting and upgraded bedding.
A new self-service snack station will be introduced for Delta One passengers, allowing access to refreshments throughout the flight without waiting for cabin service.
Beyond the premium cabin, Delta is upgrading all seating across both aircraft types, with larger entertainment screens, memory foam cushions, USB-C charging and improved connectivity. The airline expects more than 800 aircraft to feature its updated interiors over the next five years.
The move builds on Delta’s earlier introduction of all-suite business class cabins in 2017, with the airline aiming for 90 percent of Delta One seats to feature suite-style privacy by 2030.
The upgrades come as Delta continues to expand its long-haul network, focusing on delivering a consistent and enhanced onboard experience across its fleet.
