Ascott opens Sky Vista tower at Vietnam resort

The Ascott Limited has announced the opening of Sky Vista, a new resort tower at Lasong Hotel & Villas Sam Son in Vietnam, completing the development of the coastal destination.

 

Set to open on April 24, 2026, Sky Vista adds 190 rooms to the property and introduces a wellness-focused concept designed to enhance the resort’s overall offering. The launch marks the second and final phase of the project, following the earlier opening of the Ocean Vista wing in 2025.

The new tower features two main accommodation types, including Grand Deluxe rooms and larger Executive Suites, each with private balconies offering sea or city views. The expansion brings the resort’s total offering to a mix of hotel rooms, villas and suites aimed at families, couples and corporate travelers.

Wellness is central to the Sky Vista concept, with facilities including a traditional Korean-style jjimjilbang spa experience. Guests can access a range of treatments, including hydrotherapy, sauna rooms and relaxation spaces, alongside a full-service spa offering massages and skincare treatments using locally sourced products.

Dining options include a mix of international and regional cuisine, with a focus on both traditional Vietnamese dishes and plant-based concepts inspired by Vietnamese and Korean influences. Additional venues include a restaurant, bar and poolside facilities designed to support a social and relaxed atmosphere.

Ascott said the project is part of a broader strategy to position Sam Son as a key destination for luxury travel in northern Vietnam, combining wellness, hospitality and local cultural elements.
