American Airlines partners with Uber

Airline News

The new alliance will enable American Airlines customers to get to the airport and back to their homes via Uber services

The two companies will deliver customers a faster airport transfer, raider and mileage promotions with a push of a button. After flight booking, American airline customers can benefit Uber rides from their homes to the airport and back. Clients can book the nearest Uber pick up location directly on the airline's website (aa.com), via special app.

Scott Hinshaw marketing director at American Airlines declared:

“We’re excited to partner with the only global ride sharing service to offer customers exactly what they’re asking for - a seamless travel experience, whether they’re in the sky or on the ground.”

In response, Jonathan DiOrio from Uber commented on the new partnership:

“By working together, we can provide a service that allows customers to request their Uber ride to the airport in step with their itinerary and know where to meet their Uber driver after their flight lands.”

“Whether you’re trying to get home to see your family, or heading to an important business meeting across the country, your travel experience should be seamless.

“We’re excited to work with American Airlines to ensure passengers have a great door-to-door experience.”
