Air India Group to operate 22 flights to West Asia on 27 March

News

Air India and Air India Express will operate a combined total of 22 flights to and from West Asia on March 27, 2026, as part of a revised operational plan.

The schedule includes 14 regular services and 8 additional non-scheduled flights, primarily targeting key destinations such as Jeddah, Riyadh and Muscat.

Air India will operate four flights to Jeddah from Delhi and Mumbai, along with two services between Mumbai and Riyadh. Meanwhile, Air India Express will run multiple flights to Muscat and Riyadh, connecting cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Kozhikode.

In addition to scheduled operations, both airlines will operate eight ad-hoc flights to the United Arab Emirates, including services to Dubai and Abu Dhabi, subject to slot availability and regulatory approvals.

Several routes across the region remain temporarily suspended, including services to destinations such as Doha, Kuwait, Bahrain and Tel Aviv, reflecting ongoing operational constraints.

Despite these adjustments, Air India confirmed that flights to North America, Europe, Australia and other global regions continue to operate as scheduled.

Passengers affected by suspended routes are being offered flexible options, including free rebooking or full refunds. The airline is actively contacting customers with updated travel information and encouraging them to verify their contact details.

The expanded operations highlight Air India Group’s efforts to maintain connectivity in the West Asia region while adapting to evolving conditions.
