Air France unveils new desserts for Business Class
Air France has unveiled a new selection of desserts for its long-haul Business Class passengers, continuing its collaboration with acclaimed pastry chef Nina Métayer.
The new creations, available from April 2026 on flights departing from Paris, are designed specifically for onboard service, combining refined flavours with a lighter texture suited to high-altitude dining. Among the highlights are two new additions: a raspberry and coconut dessert and a lemon verbena creation inspired by citrus notes.
Métayer, named World’s Best Pastry Chef in 2023, said the desserts were conceived as “travel companions” that offer a sensory experience while reflecting the spirit of different destinations.
The desserts form part of a broader culinary offering in Air France’s Business cabin, developed in partnership with renowned French chefs. The current menu is curated by Régis Marcon, a three-Michelin-starred chef, who draws inspiration from seasonal ingredients and regional French cuisine.
Meals are prepared in collaboration with catering partner Servair, with a focus on fresh, locally sourced products. The airline said its menus prioritize French-origin ingredients for meat, dairy and eggs, alongside sustainably sourced fish and vegetarian options.
Air France is also expanding efforts to reduce food waste by allowing Business Class passengers to pre-select their main course up to 24 hours before departure, ensuring availability while improving onboard efficiency.
The updated dessert menu reflects the airline’s ongoing investment in premium inflight dining as part of its overall passenger experience strategy.
