Air France Hosts Michelin-Star Chef on Paris–Bogotá Flight
Air France recently highlighted its in-flight culinary program by inviting triple Michelin-starred chef Régis Marcon to present his signature dishes on board a long-haul flight between Paris and Bogotá.
The special event took place on 4 March 2026 on flight AF422 departing from Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport. Business class passengers were served a menu created by Marcon, who was also on board to present the dishes and interact with travelers during the flight.
The chef worked alongside the cabin crew and François Adamski, Servair’s corporate chef and Bocuse d’Or winner. During the flight, passengers had the opportunity to taste several dishes inspired by French gastronomy, including scallops with Jerusalem artichoke purée, roast guinea fowl with caper sauce and vegetables, and beef served with fennel purée and mushrooms.
Marcon, a three-Michelin-star chef and Bocuse d’Or winner, is responsible for the Business class menus on Air France long-haul flights departing from Paris. His cuisine draws inspiration from the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and focuses on seasonal ingredients and nature-inspired flavors.
The initiative is part of Air France’s “Culinary Heights” program, through which the airline collaborates with leading chefs to design menus for its premium cabins. These events occasionally bring the chefs on board to meet passengers and present their creations during the flight.
Air France says the collaboration with renowned chefs is intended to highlight French culinary expertise while enhancing the travel experience for long-haul passengers. The airline currently operates daily Airbus A350 flights between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Bogotá.
