World’s First Cruise to Visit All Seven Continents Is Officially Scheduled

News

Scheduled to depart in 2020, Silversea’s luxury Silver Whisper liner will visit as many as 62 ports across 32 countries, including everywhere from Antarctica to both the northern and southern fjords of Norway.

As never before, the itinerary starts from Florida’s Fort Lauderdale port and includes 40 new destinations and a string of overnight stays in the world’s most important capitals.

The ship can carry up to 382 passengers and will sail through the Caribbean and South America (of course, with a stop in Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires) before heading to Antarctica; then, the warmer shores of the South Pacific are visited and stops are made in Robinson Crusoe Island and Easter Island, as well as Australia, where everyone on the ship can enjoy the beautiful cities of Sydney, Melbourne, as well as Kangaroo Island and Perth.

If so far it sounds exhilarating, wait until you find out what comes next!

The journey does not stop here, nor does it turns back; it continues to Asia, where passengers can luxuriate in the white sandy beaches of Phuket in Thailand, explore the Unesco temples of Colombo in Sri Lanka, and even visit Mumbai in India.

The asia route ends in the Middle East, where passengers can discover the city of Petra in Jordan, as well as the ancient sites of Muscat before going back to Europe through Sicily, Rome, Barcelona, and Lisbon.

Finally, travellers are brought from Dublin through Northern Europe, which also includes the scenic Norwegian fjords and the Isles of Orkney and Edinburgh in Scotland before reaching the final destination in Amsterdam.

Even though it is not the longest cruise in the history, it is definitely one of the most beautiful adventures that you could experience. However, the price is high: tickets cost more than £125,000 and covers all seven continents, incorporating several cruise ships, with breaks to go home and re-pack in between.

So, if you are ready to add some extra adventure and tremendous memories to your life, this cruise might be just what you need!
