
Wizz Air Adds 15 New Routes From Romania

Wizz Air has announced its biggest expansion yet in Romania, adding 15 new routes to its 2025-2026 winter schedule. The low-cost carrier will connect Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Iasi, and Brasov to destinations across Europe and North Africa, further strengthening its presence in the region.
The new destinations include cities in Germany, France, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Morocco, and the Czech Republic. Ticket prices start from just RON 99, available via the Wizz Air website and mobile app.
New Bucharest Routes:
From October 26, passengers flying out of Bucharest Otopeni can head to Berlin, Prague, and Bordeaux, while a new route to Turku launches on October 27. Faro, Portugal, joins the list from March 31, 2026.
Cluj-Napoca Connections:
Cluj travelers can fly to Marrakesh starting October 26. Routes to Stockholm and Oslo open October 27 and 28, respectively. Milan Malpensa service starts March 29, 2026.
From Iasi:
Copenhagen flights launch on October 27. The following day, Prague and Valencia are added to the schedule. A new route to Pescara begins on December 9.
Brasov Flights:
From October 28, Wizz will operate flights to Milan Malpensa. Starting January 27, 2026, passengers can also fly to Rome Fiumicino.
Anastasia Novak, Corporate & Sustainability Communications Manager at Wizz Air, said the expansion reflects the airline’s commitment to improving connectivity and affordability for Romanian travelers.
Wizz Air now offers 228 routes from 13 airports across Romania, serving 85 destinations in 27 countries. The airline operates eight bases in the country and employs over 1,600 people locally.
