Turkish Airlines, known for flying to more countries than any other airline, is set to revolutionize its in-flight experience by providing free, unlimited Wi-Fi across its entire fleet. This initiative, aimed at enhancing passenger connectivity, is expected to be fully implemented by the end of 2025.

 

Retrofitting and Equipping the Fleet

As part of this strategy, Turkish Airlines will retrofit its existing aircraft with the latest in-flight connectivity (IFC) technologies and equip new aircraft with the most efficient IFC systems available. This upgrade will ensure that all passengers enjoy unlimited, uninterrupted, and fast connectivity services free of charge.

Meeting Digital Consumption Needs

Adapting to Passenger Expectations

With the integration of new IFC technologies, Turkish Airlines aims to meet passengers' digital consumption habits during travel. To achieve this, the airline is open to collaboration with both local and international suppliers who can provide the best IFC solutions for the entire fleet.

Support for Turkish Companies

Turkish Airlines is also committed to supporting Turkish companies in developing connectivity solutions. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed with TCI Aircraft Interiors and Turksat, highlighting the airline’s dedication to leveraging national capacity and supporting Turkish firms in the IFC sector.

Following necessary feasibility studies, Turkish Airlines and its partners will work to transform the MoU into a definitive agreement. This collaboration underscores the airline's commitment to enhancing passenger experience and advancing the Turkish aviation industry.
