The One&Only One Za'abeel Dubai is Now Taking Bookings

For Kerzner International, the first One&Only Urban Resort is a unique opportunity to break new ground. According to Philippe Zuber, CEO of Kerzner International, One&Only One Za'abeel reimagines what it means to provide ultra-luxury accommodation in the centre of a metropolis.

The debut of the first Urban Resort in such a picture-perfect location as the world-famous One Za'abeel, is reshaping the skyline of Dubai, as the architectural landmark embodies a unique duality: it is both a garden in the sky and a vertical masterpiece, reimagining the conventional horizontal resort into something new and exciting.

The resort is part of the One Za'abeel complex, a high-rise building overlooking Dubai that was designed by the renowned Japanese firm Nikken Sekkei. The Link, the world's longest cantilever, connects the two towers at One Za'abeel in a stunning manner, creating a futuristic promenade that floats 100 meters over the street below.

In line with the One&Only standard of unparalleled size and privacy, the rooms, suites, and Villa One penthouse at One&Only One Za'abeel are among the biggest in all of Dubai. Jean-Michel Gathy was commissioned to design the interiors, and he was inspired by the hotel's Za'abeel setting. Za'abeel, which translates to "white sand", has a calming storyline that is naturally woven into the resort's fabric via its use of a relaxing neutral colour palette and discreet sand patterns in the fabrics, artistic creations, and sculptural illumination.

Another first for One&Only, the corner rooms are outfitted with luxurious extras that will please even the most exclusive guests. The Grand Panoramic Suite is a luxurious urban retreat with sweeping views of Dubai's skyline. Spa amenities including massage tables, stretching areas, exercise appliances, and in-room spa services can be found in the Sanctuary Suites, while acoustic panelling and cutting-edge audiovisual equipment can be found in the Creative Suites.

The Royal Suite is perfect for those who want to relax in style, as it has three separate living areas: a luxurious lounge with a bar and capacity for ten, a formal dining room, and a secluded sitting chamber. Two-story accommodations, such the Sama Signature Duplex Suite and Villa One, have also been added to the resort. The 755 square meter penthouse known as Villa One is a modern Arabian take on the hotel's famous beach villas. The two-bedroom Villa One also has an indoor/outdoor infinity pool, a theatre, a fitness centre, a private chef, and an appointed host. There is also a separate welcome area, or majlis.

Located inside this remarkable complex is One&Only One Za'abeel Private Homes. These exceptional branded apartments are considered to be the highest standard of living in Dubai, providing residents with access to a private community, a desired network of privileges, and the city's enthralling life and energy.

The Link is an exciting lifestyle destination that takes its cues from the vibrant, restaurant-filled streets of New York and Hong Kong. Anne-Sophie Pic, Bo Songvisava & Dylan Jones, Mehmet Gürs, Paco Morales, and Tetsuya Wakuda, among others, are just some of the Michelin-starred chefs whose ideas will be displayed on this floating street. A restaurant open all day, exciting attractions, and a pulsating nightlife scene can all be found at Sphere. One&Only's Tapasake, an in-house beach club concept with a large infinity pool, luxury cabanas, drinks, and modern Japanese-Peruvian food, overlooks the Dubai cityscape from the top of The Link.

The Garden, located on floor four, is an urban interpretation of an ocean-front resort, complete with tropical landscaping, a lagoon-style pool for families, as well as a swim-up bar. The Garden level showcases the works of Dabiz Muoz's StreetXO and the innovative Andaliman from Indonesia.

The resort will also include a Spa Clinic, a fitness center with cutting-edge equipment, an exciting KidsOnly Club, and upscale stores selling a curated assortment of clothing, cosmetics, and accessories.

Jan Tibaldi has been appointed General Manager and will oversee the resort's inauguration. In his opinion, the One&Only One Za'abeel is a model for the future, challenging the idea of providing five-star service in the heart of a buzzing metropolis, unveiling an entire world for visitors to explore, one where collaboration, celebration, and recalibration are all equally encouraged.

The doors of One&Only One Za'abeel will open to the public on December 1, 2023.
