Singapore Airlines to launch daily flights to Western Sydney Airport

Airlines & Airports

Singapore Airlines has announced the launch of daily non-stop flights between Singapore and the new Western Sydney International Airport, starting on 23 November 2026.

The route will be operated using Airbus A350-900 medium-haul aircraft, configured with 303 seats across Business and Economy Class. The new service will provide additional capacity and flexibility for travellers flying between Singapore and Sydney.

With the addition of Western Sydney, Singapore Airlines will operate five daily flights to the Sydney region, complementing its existing four daily services to Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport.

The new airport’s 24-hour operations and late-night departure slots are expected to improve connectivity, allowing smoother onward connections through Singapore Changi Airport to more than 130 global destinations.

Western Sydney is one of Australia’s fastest-growing regions, home to over three million residents and serving as a gateway to destinations such as the Blue Mountains.

The new route also strengthens Singapore Airlines’ presence in Australia, where it will serve eight destinations, while its low-cost subsidiary Scoot continues to operate additional routes.

Tickets for the new service are expected to go on sale from 25 March 2026, subject to regulatory approvals.
