Bucharest Airports National Company registered in 2015 a record number of 9.28 million passengers at the two airports it manages: Henri Coanda (Otopeni) and Aurel Vlaicu (Baneasa)


The two airports have also recorded 108,566 aircraft movements (takeoffs and landings). In total, on the Henri Coanda International Airport were recorded 9.27 million passengers and 97,218 aircraft movements.


"The evolution of the number of passengers on the two airports of the Bucharest Airports National Company exceed the general trend recorded in Europe. In addition, the two airports recorded a substantial increase in the number of aircraft movements, respecting the European trends. Thus, last year the number of aircraft movements at airports in Bucharest increased by 6.4% compared to the same period of 2014 ,"asserts a Bucharest Airports National Company press release.


Henri Coanda International Airport currently operates 31 airlines, carrying passengers to 70 destinations. Bucharest Airports National Company began its operations in 2010 providing operational coordination and the management of the two airports of the city. CNAB was established by merging the companies that were managing the airports in Bucharest, Henri Coanda International Airport and Aurel Vlaicu International Airport.
