Qatar Airways Returns to Helsinki With Daily Flights From August
Qatar Airways is returning to Helsinki, announcing the resumption of flights between Doha and the Finnish capital from July 15, 2026.
The service launches with four weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, operated by a Boeing 787-8. From the beginning of August, the route steps up to daily service with the addition of Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday flights.
The resumption reinforces Helsinki Airport's position as a key hub in Northern Europe, particularly for long-haul connectivity. Doha's Hamad International Airport serves as Qatar Airways' global hub, giving Helsinki passengers seamless onward connections to destinations across Southeast Asia, Australia, and East Africa — regions that are otherwise difficult to reach directly from Finland.
The return of Qatar Airways brings Helsinki into the airline's expanding global summer network, which is targeting over 160 destinations worldwide as the carrier continues rebuilding its route map following a period of disruption earlier in the year.
