
SAS Increases Frequencies and Adds new Routes

SAS is increasing the number of departures on popular routes, launching a number of all-new routes and continuing several of its most attractive summer destinations and.

Eivind Roald, Vice President Sales & Marketing at SAS, said: "At SAS we are always seeking to enhance the product we offer to our customers. Last winter we have registered a big interest in our holiday destinations. This year, we are thrilled to be able to offer even more winter destinations and also increase the number of departures on popular routes."
SAS is also increasing the number of flights on key routes for business travelers. Flights from Stockholm and Copenhagen to Manchester will be receiving an additional daily departure. SAS will also be offering an improved afternoon timetable from Oslo to Bergen and up to 18 daily departures.
SAS will yet once more increase the frequency of departures this winter and also add more flights from Copenhagen to San Francisco so that the two destinations will be connected daily.
The SAS winter schedule includes larger aircraft on its existing routes from Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm to London Heathrow. The Gothenburg-London service will also get a change from Heathrow to Stansted Airport. In total, SAS is adding more capacity from Scandinavia to London by more than 50,000 extra seats.
SAS has opened a total of 13 new destinations this year and will also launch further routes.
