Wizz Air Launches Direct Flights Between Olsztyn-Mazury and Dortmund

Wizz Air, Europe’s most environmentally sustainable airline, has announced the launch of a new direct flight route between Olsztyn-Mazury Airport in Poland and Dortmund, Germany. Starting from 28 October 2025, the service will operate twice weekly, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, offering passengers a convenient and affordable connection to the Ruhr region and one of Germany’s most vibrant cities.

The new route provides an excellent opportunity for travelers in the Warmia-Masuria region to explore Dortmund, a city known for its dynamic cultural scene, rich football heritage, and modern urban atmosphere. With close proximity to key cities like Düsseldorf and Cologne, Dortmund offers a mix of tradition and innovation, making it an attractive destination for both leisure and business travelers.

Wizz Air continues to play a significant role in improving accessibility and regional tourism in Poland, with nearly 180 routes connecting the country to 28 destinations across Europe. This launch also reinforces Wizz Air’s continued support for regional airports like Olsztyn-Mazury, further expanding its footprint in Poland.
