Norwegian Adds Four New Routes from Swedish Airports

Airlines & Airports

Norwegian is expanding its presence in Sweden with four new routes launching ahead of the airline’s summer 2026 programme. The new destinations — Montpellier, Basel, Beirut, and Riga — will be served from Stockholm Arlanda Airport and Göteborg Landvetter Airport, further strengthening Norwegian’s network across Europe and the Middle East.

The additions build on previously announced 2026 routes to Hamburg, Milan, and Tirana, underscoring Norwegian’s continued investment in the Swedish market.

From Stockholm Arlanda, the airline will introduce:

  • Beirut (BEY) – once weekly from 3 April 2026

  • Montpellier (MPL) – twice weekly from 16 May 2026

  • Basel (BSL) – twice weekly from 22 May 2026

From Göteborg Landvetter, Norwegian will begin:

  • Riga (RIX) – twice weekly from 29 March 2026

The airline says several of these destinations will be brand-new additions to the airports’ offerings, providing travellers with more direct travel options for both leisure and business trips.

Norwegian’s expansion highlights the airline’s long-term commitment to Sweden, as it continues to grow its route network from Swedavia’s two largest airports.
