
New Flights to Baltimore Announced by Copa Airlines

Copa Airlines will begin flying to Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) four times a week starting June 28. This makes Baltimore the 15th destination in America.
Copa is strengthening its presence in North America by using its hub at Tocumen International Airport, Panama City. Copa will now serve 14 destinations on the US mainland, as well as Puerto Rico, with today's announcement. Passengers will now be able connect to 55 Latin American destinations via the new route.

Copa's flights from Baltimore to PTY will depart PTY Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 09:07 and arrive at BWI on Sundays at 15:07. The return flights depart the US at 16.22 local and arrive at PTY at 21:22 local. Copa is an all Boeing 737 airline. However, at the moment, it is not clear which 737 model will be used on flights to BWI.
Cirium reports that Copa has flights to 14 American destinations. However, flights to BWI have not been added to the system. According to the number of flights scheduled, Copa's most visited American destinations are Florida. Out of the 809 flights to the US, 377 flights are to Florida airports. The Miami area receives the most flights. There are 218 flights between Hollywood-Fort Lauderdale International Airport (Hollywood) and Miami International Airport (Miami International Airport). New York City's John F. Kennedy International Airport receives 90 Copa flights per day in June.
