Miles & More Rewards Passengers for Sustainable Flying

Miles & More, the loyalty program of the Lufthansa Group, has introduced new incentives for travelers to offset their CO₂ emissions. Members can now earn additional miles and Points when they purchase CO₂-offsetting packages, either during booking, before departure, or even after a flight.

 

These packages offset flight-related CO₂ emissions using Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and contributions to the Lufthansa Group’s verified climate projects. Members earn up to 80% more Points and 20% more HON Circle Points, plus up to 6 miles per euro spent, depending on the SAF share. Offsetting packages can also be paid for with miles.

This complements the existing Green Fares introduced in 2023, which already grant up to 20% bonus miles and Points.
