Milan Bergamo Airport to Serve 107 Destinations This Winter

Airlines & Airports

Milan Bergamo Airport has released its winter flight schedule, in effect from 26 October 2025 to 28 March 2026, featuring 107 destinations across 38 countries, operated by 18 scheduled airlines. This marks a 5% increase over the previous winter season, driven by new routes and expanded frequencies.

Ryanair, the airport’s largest carrier, now bases 22 aircraft at Bergamo—two more than last winter—and operates 81 routes. The airline has increased flight frequencies on 30 existing routes and reinstated its three-weekly service to Pescara.

Wizz Air is also ramping up operations with five new routes, including:

  • Varna, launched on 23 September

  • Chisinau (4x weekly) and Bucharest Băneasa (daily) starting 26 October

  • Warsaw Modlin (daily) and Suceava (4x weekly) from 15 December

  • Sibiu (3x weekly) starting 6 January 2026

Middle East and Africa Connections Grow

The airport’s long-haul connectivity also expands this winter:

  • flydubai will operate twice-daily flights to Dubai from 16 December in codeshare with Emirates, offering smooth onward connections across Asia, Africa, and Australia

  • Air Arabia boosts Sharjah service to 11 weekly flights during the holiday season

  • Air Cairo continues flights to Sharm el-Sheikh, supporting winter tourism on the Red Sea

  • Neos maintains its weekly route to Dakar, serving demand to and from Senegal

Nordic and Eastern European Growth

Norwegian confirms its twice-weekly flights to Helsinki, and will restart flights to Tromsø on 26 October and Evenes/Lofoten Islands from 4 February. DanAir will increase Bacau flights from 2 to 3 times per week during the Christmas period.

New Security Upgrades

Starting 26 November, passengers will benefit from a new security screening area equipped with next-generation X-ray scanners. These will allow liquids and electronics to remain in hand luggage, speeding up checks and enhancing comfort.

With a broader route map and improved passenger services, Milan Bergamo Airport continues to strengthen its role as a key European travel hub.
