Lufthansa Reopens Fully Renovated Lounge at Stuttgart
Lufthansa will reopen its modernised lounge at Stuttgart Airport on 16 December 2025, following an extensive renovation. The redesigned space offers a higher level of comfort and flexibility, tailored to the needs of premium and status passengers.
The lounge is now divided into two distinct areas: a Business Lounge and a Senator Lounge, each accessed via an automated digital entry system. Both spaces feature multiple zones designed for working, dining, relaxing or enjoying greater privacy.
Highlights include a wide selection of food and beverages, magazines and newspapers, and in the Senator Lounge, a barista coffee bar serving freshly prepared coffee made from beans sourced from a local roaster.
The new design blends Lufthansa’s brand identity with elements inspired by Stuttgart. Guided by the themes “dynamic, industrial and mobile”, the architecture and materials reflect the character of the region and create a strong sense of place.
“Many of our status guests missed ‘their lounge’ during the closure,” said Heiko Reitz, Hub Manager Munich and Chief Commercial Officer at Lufthansa Airlines. “I’m delighted that we can now reopen the Business and Senator Lounges with a completely new concept.”
Lufthansa Group airlines currently serve more than 60 destinations in 21 countries from Stuttgart, mainly with Lufthansa and Eurowings, alongside services by Austrian Airlines and SWISS. The reopening comes in a year when Lufthansa also marked its 70th anniversary at Stuttgart Airport.
