Lufthansa Opens New Premium Check-in Area at Frankfurt
Lufthansa has officially reopened its modernized Premium Check-in Area in Terminal 1, Hall A at Frankfurt Airport, offering First Class passengers, HON Circle members, Senators and Star Alliance Gold customers a higher level of comfort and efficiency.
The redesigned space, inaugurated on 25 November, features a refreshed layout, new service options and improved passenger flow.
“With the new Premium Check-in Area, we’ve created a space that combines comfort, efficiency and personalized service at the highest level,” said Francesco Sciortino, Hub Manager Frankfurt & Accountable Manager Lufthansa Airlines. “This reopening marks a milestone in the collaboration between Lufthansa and Fraport.”
“This project shows how strong cooperation leads to innovative solutions,” added Stephanie Pudwitz, Head of Central Infrastructure Management at Fraport AG.

The update blends modern design with practical amenities, aimed at making the airport experience more seamless for premium and status passengers.
In parallel with the check-in upgrade, the Lufthansa Business Lounge at Gate A13 has reopened after renovations, offering spaces for relaxation, work and pre-flight preparation as part of the airline’s broader premium service offering.
