Lufthansa Launches Allegris Cabin from Frankfurt on New Long-Haul Routes This Winter

Lufthansa passengers flying from Frankfurt can experience the airline’s new Allegris cabin for the first time on long-haul routes. The inaugural Allegris-equipped flight from Frankfurt is bound for Toronto, operated with a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner featuring state-of-the-art cabin design.
Beginning with the winter 2025 schedule, additional destinations will include:
-
Rio de Janeiro
-
Bogotá
-
Hyderabad
-
Austin (Texas) – launching in December
This expansion brings Lufthansa’s new premium cabin product to its largest hub, following a successful rollout on the Airbus A350-900 from Munich in May 2024.
“We are delighted to now offer our Frankfurt passengers our upgraded travel experience on long-haul flights with Allegris,” said Francesco Sciortino, Hub Manager Frankfurt at Lufthansa Airlines. “Allegris has been enthusiastically received by guests, and we are proud to introduce it on more routes.”

Over half a million passengers have already flown in the new Allegris cabin, with more than 90% expressing satisfaction. The new concept offers:
-
All-new seating across all travel classes
-
Personalized comfort features

With additional Boeing 787 deliveries expected in the coming weeks, Lufthansa plans to expand its Allegris-equipped network further, with more routes to be announced soon.
