Lufthansa Group Launches Early Check-In at Changi
The Lufthansa Group has launched an Early Check-In service at Singapore’s Changi Airport, enhancing convenience for passengers flying to Europe with Lufthansa or Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS).
Starting 1 September 2025, travelers can use the Jewel Early Check-In (JECI) counters to check in and drop off their bags from 8:00am to 8:00pm on the day of departure—12 hours before regular check-in opens. The service is located at Jewel Changi Airport, making it ideal for passengers who want to enjoy the airport’s attractions, dine, or shop before their flight.
“Having recently marked 60 years of flights to Singapore, this new service underscores our commitment to passenger comfort at one of Asia’s top travel hubs,” said Brendan Shashoua, Lufthansa Group’s Senior Director Sales – Southeast Asia and the Pacific.
The Early Check-In option enhances the group’s offering at Changi Airport, allowing for a more relaxed pre-flight experience in one of the world’s most innovative terminals.
