Lufthansa Debuts New Allegris Cabins on Tokyo–Munich Route

Airlines & Airports

Lufthansa’s premium travel experience Allegris has officially landed in Japan, with its first scheduled flight from Munich to Tokyo Haneda Airport touching down on Monday, October 27, 2025. The return flight, LH715, departed the same day, marking the launch of the new Allegris-equipped Airbus A350-900 on this key long-haul route.

This milestone brings Lufthansa’s fully upgraded cabin product to Japanese travelers for the first time, offering a reimagined First, Business, Premium Economy, and Economy Class experience.

“We are delighted to bring our premium product Lufthansa Allegris to Japan,” said Heiko Reitz, Chief Customer Officer of Lufthansa Airlines. “With Allegris, we’re investing in personalization, privacy, and comfort—qualities highly valued by our Japanese guests.”

Next-Level First Class: Allegris Suites

The Allegris First Class Cabin features:

  • Two individual First Class suites

  • A “Suite Plus” configuration for couples or co-travelers

  • Ceiling-high walls and lockable doors for total privacy

  • Adjustable heating/cooling on nearly one-meter-wide seats

  • Personal wardrobes, large tables, and custom lighting

  • Huge screens and wireless over-ear headphones

With an emphasis on comfort, personalization, and design, Allegris raises the bar for First Class travel on Lufthansa’s long-haul fleet.

Enhanced Experience for Japanese Travelers

Lufthansa Group currently operates 22 weekly flights from Europe to Japan. With Allegris now flying from Tokyo Haneda to Munich, the group is significantly elevating its offering to Japanese passengers, connecting them to its five-star hub in Munich and onward across its global network.

Allegris reflects Lufthansa’s largest-ever investment in onboard comfort, arriving just ahead of the airline’s centennial year. It underscores the airline’s focus on meeting the needs of modern international travelers, with a special nod to the value placed on privacy and personal space by passengers in the Japanese market.
