LOT Launches New Year-Round Warsaw–Stavanger Route

LOT Polish Airlines has inaugurated a new direct connection between Warsaw and Stavanger, with the first flight departing on 24 November 2025. The route will operate four times a week year-round, strengthening LOT’s growing presence in Northern Europe.

 

Flights LO489 depart Warsaw Chopin Airport at 8:10 a.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, arriving in Stavanger after roughly two hours. Return flight LO490 leaves Stavanger at 11:25 a.m. on the same days.

The new service adds to LOT’s expanding Nordic network, which already includes flights to Reykjavik, launched earlier this year, and a seasonal Warsaw–Rovaniemi route beginning on 27 November.

“Our direct flights to Stavanger will make travel between Poland and Norway even easier,” said Robert Ludera, Registered Representative and Director of the Network Bureau at LOT Polish Airlines. “The region is an important industrial centre and a unique tourist destination. We invite everyone to discover Scandinavia with LOT.”

Gateway to Norway’s Fjords

Stavanger and the surrounding Rogaland region are known for dramatic natural landscapes, including famous hiking spots like Preikestolen and Kjerag. Visitors can explore trekking routes, fishing villages, waterfalls, fjords and rugged coastlines year-round.

Stavanger also offers a rich cultural offering—from the world-renowned Nuart street art festival to jazz concerts, art galleries and museum exhibitions. The city’s cafés, bars and studios create a lively atmosphere for both residents and travellers.
