Lonely Planet launches the Traveler’s Bible

The Traveler’s Bible Lonely Planet, the largest publisher of travel guides in the world, launches "Traveler’s Bible", the ultimate guide containing the most interesting activities that tourists can do worldwide. After the Let's Go travel guide series that was founded in 1960, the Lonely Planet books were the second series of travel books aimed at backpackers and other low-cost travelers.
An old adage says that "the best things in life are free" and this certainly applies to some of the most interesting sights in the world, the authors of the book declare. For example, one can visit an uninhabited island in the Bahamas, where everyone can swim with wild pigs without being charged a penny or one can follow free yoga classes in Dubai.
The authors have chosen some of the most interesting and cost-efficient destinations worldwide. These include the Pig Island in Bahamas, the gardens of Versailles or the free concerts in London.
On a small uninhabited island of Exuma in the Bahamas region, feral pigs are walking free and do not mind about tourists interacting with them, as all edible gifts are welcome. This is the only place in the Caribbean where you can splash around with the island’s symbols and do not pay any money.
Gardens by the Bay Park in Singapore are located in the city center, on an area of 101 hectares. Built with a budget of over one billion dollars, the project aims to increase citizens' lives by improving air quality. Those who want to visit this splendor must be early risers at 7:45 or 8:45 am as this is the time one can see the light and sound show of the Garden Rhapsody.
