JetBlue Launches Flights to Destin–Fort Walton Beach

JetBlue has launched service to Destin–Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS) in Florida, marking the airline’s 11th destination in the state and expanding its presence along the Gulf Coast.

 

The new routes connect New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) with the popular Florida Panhandle destination. Flights began on March 5, 2026, operating five times weekly on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

The addition brings JetBlue’s signature service to Florida’s Emerald Coast, a region known for its white-sand beaches and growing tourism industry. The airline said the new routes will give travellers in the Northeast more nonstop options for leisure travel while allowing residents in northwest Florida to connect easily to JetBlue’s broader network.

JetBlue is positioning the route as part of a broader strategy to strengthen connections between the Northeast United States and Florida, one of the airline’s most important markets. The company has announced dozens of new routes in the state in recent years as demand for leisure travel continues to grow.

Passengers on the new flights will experience JetBlue’s onboard amenities, including free high-speed Fly-Fi Wi-Fi, live seatback entertainment, complimentary snacks and drinks, and spacious seating designed to enhance comfort on domestic flights.

With the launch of Destin–Fort Walton Beach service, JetBlue continues expanding its Florida network, which includes major destinations such as Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Tampa and Miami, as well as several smaller leisure airports across the state.
