JetBlue and United Launch Loyalty Integration Under Blue Sky Partnership

In a major step forward for airline loyalty programs, JetBlue (Nasdaq: JBLU) and United Airlines (Nasdaq: UAL) have launched the first key benefit from their Blue Sky partnership, enabling loyalty members to earn and redeem points or miles across both carriers’ networks starting today.

This new benefit brings together two of the country’s most recognizable airline loyalty programs — JetBlue TrueBlue and United MileagePlus — giving travelers enhanced flexibility, more ways to use their rewards, and broader access to global and leisure destinations.

How It Works

Effective immediately:

• TrueBlue members can earn and redeem points on United and United Express flights

• MileagePlus members can earn and redeem miles on most JetBlue flights

When searching for flights on JetBlue.com or United.com (or their mobile apps), customers can now view award and cash options across both airlines. Members should continue redeeming directly via their own airline’s website, using the option to search with points or miles.

“With reciprocal earning and redemption now available, Blue Sky is officially taking flight,” the airlines said in a joint statement. “We’re excited to give our loyalty members the ability to use the program of their choice when traveling across our complementary networks.”

• Reciprocal perks like priority boarding, extra legroom seating, and free same-day changes — early 2026

• MileagePlus Travel will transition to Paisly, JetBlue’s travel brand, offering hotels, rental cars, cruises, and more — early 2026

• JetBlue’s support for United’s JFK expansion, with access to seven daily roundtrips from Terminal 6 by 2027
