Jet2 has updated its mobile app with live flight status from 72 hours before departure and in-resort Customer Helper visit details, building on last year’s real-time transfer tracking feature.

Jet2 has launched new functionality in its mobile app, giving customers access to live flight times and status updates from 72 hours before departure, alongside details about their in-resort Customer Helper including visit times, locations, and the helper’s name.

The updates are designed to reduce uncertainty at key moments of the holiday journey, allowing customers to track their flight status in real time and plan their resort meet-up without needing to call customer service. The company says the Customer Helper feature also improves operational effectiveness by streamlining how visit information is communicated.

The new features build on last year’s Live Transfer Status launch, which made Jet2 the first UK tour operator to allow customers to track their coach transfer to the departure airport in real time. That functionality is currently available for transfers in the Balearics, Canary Islands, mainland Spain, Morocco, Turkey, and Bulgaria, and is expanding this summer to Greece, Cyprus, Malta, Faro, and Madeira.
