Jet2 Expands Greece Summer 2026 Programme with Extra Seats
Jet2 has expanded its Summer 2026 programme to Greece, responding to strong demand from British holidaymakers by adding nearly 30,000 extra seats on popular island routes.
The additional capacity will be available on services to Crete (Chania and Heraklion), Kos and Santorini from major UK bases including Birmingham, Leeds Bradford, Manchester and London Stansted. These extra flights, running from July to September 2026, make Jet2 the largest UK operator to Greece this summer.
From Birmingham, travellers can now access extra weekly flights to Chania and Santorini, with the latter being an exclusive Jet2 route. Leeds Bradford will see additional Kos services, while London Stansted and Manchester will benefit from added capacity to Crete, including extra Sunday and weekday services respectively.
In total, Jet2 plans to operate flights to 15 Greek destinations for Summer 2026 — including Athens, Corfu, Thessaloniki, Rhodes, Kefalonia, Samos and Zante — across its UK network. With more than 3.5 million seats on sale and over 360 weekly departures, the expanded programme reflects sustained holiday demand and gives customers greater choice and flexibility for Mediterranean breaks.
Jet2 offers both flight-only bookings and ATOL-protected package holidays, combining leisure travel with its award-recognised customer service and added benefits such as inclusive hand luggage allowances.
Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said the expansion responds directly to continued demand for Greek sunshine and underscores Jet2’s position as a leading leisure operator for UK travellers heading to the Mediterranean.
