Iberia Unveils a 16m Canvas in Plaza Pedro Zerolo to Celebrate LGTBIQ+ Pride

Iberia is joining the LGTBIQ+ Pride celebrations in a big way with the installation of a 16-meter canvas in Plaza Pedro Zerolo, Madrid. The installation, featuring the motto “#FlyWithPride We connect people and celebrate diversity,” is the centerpiece of the airline’s efforts to promote diversity and inclusion.
Onboard Celebrations
Iberia is bringing Pride celebrations onboard its flights with several special events:

Pride Gift Card
Iberia is offering a Pride gift card with a 10% discount, valid for one year on flights operated by the Iberia Group, including Iberia, Iberia Express, and Iberia Regional Air Nostrum. This initiative allows customers to book their summer holidays with added savings.
Social Media Campaign
On June 1, Iberia changed its social media avatar to a design influenced by the geometric figures of the Bauhaus School, celebrating diversity and freedom of expression in alignment with the Pride movement.
Celebrating Diversity
The start of Iberia’s actions for Pride took place with the installation of the large canvas in Plaza Pedro Zerolo, the epicenter of Madrid’s Pride celebration in the Chueca neighborhood. This initiative underscores Iberia’s commitment to connecting people and celebrating diversity, showing solidarity with the LGTBIQ+ community.
"The main theme of this year's celebration symbolizes our deep cultural roots, respect for nature, and the spirit of the nation in difficult historical times," said Saulius Liausa, the director of the Lithuanian Song Celebration.
