Hong Kong Airlines launches flights to Cambodian destination

The three-times-a-week flights to Phnom Penh, Cambodia will be officially launched by Hong Kong Airlines on February 27th


An economy class Airbus A320 aircraft will service the new Phnom Penh route, to strengthen Hong Kong Airlines’ network in Asia. People traveling to and from Cambodia will benefit a thrice-weekly service starting the end of February.


Li Dianchun, commercial director of Hong Kong Airlines declared:


“We are delighted to add Phnom Penh to our expanding network in Asia.


“With the booming economic growth in Cambodia, the new direct flight service to Phnom Penh will connect passengers from around the world into the burgeoning country, and at the same time, offer more choices and increased convenience to Cambodians traveling out of their country and connecting to our network in Mainland China, further promoting the tourism and business ties between Hong Kong and Cambodia.”


The capital and the largest city of Cambodia, Phnom Penh is also the country's political, economic, industry, cultural heritage and tourism center. The rapid development of Phnom Penh boosted tourism industry here, as it became a popular Asian destination for both business and leisure traveling.
