Heathrow Completes £1bn Tech Upgrade at Security Checkpoints

Heathrow Airport has completed a £1 billion technology upgrade to its security checkpoints, marking a significant improvement in passenger processing and operational efficiency.

According to Heathrow, the upgraded capability enables security personnel to more quickly and accurately assess items, reducing the time passengers spend in queues and enhancing workflow at peak periods.
