Airlines & Airports

Eurowings has launched two new routes from London Gatwick Airport, strengthening air links between the UK and Germany for the 2026 summer season.

From 29 March 2026, Eurowings will operate 13 weekly flights to Cologne, tapping into strong demand for travel between London and the Rhineland. Starting 13 April 2026, the airline will also begin six weekly services to Stuttgart, connecting passengers with the capital of Baden-Württemberg in southern Germany.

The addition of these routes increases options for both leisure and business travellers across London and the South East, expanding choice alongside Gatwick’s already extensive summer network of more than 230 destinations.

Airport officials said the new services reflect growing demand for European connectivity and reinforce Gatwick’s status as one of the UK’s most well-connected airports. In addition to Eurowings, other carriers are increasing their presence at Gatwick for summer 2026, including Condor, which will operate three daily flights to Frankfurt.

Eurowings’ expanded schedule from Gatwick offers passengers greater flexibility when travelling to key German cities and supports enhanced travel options between the UK and central Europe in the upcoming peak travel months
