Fresh Dining Adventures Await at Utopia of the Seas

Royal Caribbean's new video reveals what guests can expect on Utopia of the Seas, the first LNG-powered ship in its class, boasting 40 dining and drinking options.

Royal Caribbean's latest video explores the dining offerings aboard the 236,860 gross tons Utopia of the Seas for this summer. Alongside returning favorites, new dining options promise to please.

With 40 dining and beverage choices across the 1,188-foot vessel, guests can enjoy classics like the Windjammer Cafe and Solarium Bistro. Notably, Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar will debut in a unique two-story setting. Yet, it's the fresh dining experiences featuring exciting additions that steal the spotlight.

Utopia of the Seas is set to bring back the highly praised Izumi restaurant, providing guests with an omakase-inspired private dining journey. This exclusive experience features meticulously crafted courses paired with sake cocktails, set amidst a venue equipped with six teppanyaki tables, surpassing the previous offerings on Royal Caribbean ships.

Introducing a fresh dining experience, 'Royal Railway - Utopia Station' blends the Wild West essence with global destinations, offering an adventure in food and technology. Inspired by early 20th-century rail journeys, the two 24-seat dining cars incorporate authentic elements from real railway carriages. Despite being stationary, LED screens simulate windows, providing diners with a virtual journey experience.

Currently being constructed at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France, the state-of-the-art cruise ship, Utopia of the Seas, commenced construction in April 2022.

Its float out occurred on September 27, 2023, marking the beginning of the final outfitting phase. As the first ship to utilize LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) as its power source, Utopia of the Seas will offer year-round 'Ultimate Short Getaway' cruises lasting 3 and 4 nights from Port Canaveral, accommodating 5,668 passengers.

The 3-night cruises will include stops at Nassau and Perfect Day at CocoCay before returning to Port Canaveral, while the 4-night itineraries will feature a day at Nassau, a leisurely day at sea, and a visit to Perfect Day at CocoCay.
