Finnair Relaunches Helsinki–Toronto Route for Summer 2026

Finnair will reconnect Finland and Canada by relaunching direct flights between Helsinki Airport and Toronto Pearson International Airport starting May 4, 2026, after an 11-year pause.

he route will run three times a week – on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Sundays – throughout the 2026 summer season.

Petri Vuori, Senior Vice President of Sales and Route Development at Finavia, said:


“It’s great to see Finnair reconnect Helsinki Airport with Toronto after 11 years! This new route will further strengthen Helsinki Airport’s role as a major hub linking Europe and North America.”

The Toronto flights join Finnair’s expanding North American network for summer 2026, which also includes New York, Dallas, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Seattle.

Tickets for the Toronto route are now available on Finnair’s website.
