Eurowings Expands Gulf Services Post-Dubai Success

Following a triumphant Dubai launch, Eurowings announces increased flight frequencies to Dubai and a new route to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, starting winter 2024/25.
After a highly successful introduction of flights to Dubai, Eurowings, Germany's premier holiday airline, is set to broaden its services to the Gulf region, doubling its offerings. The Berlin-Dubai route emerged as the top performer in the 2023/24 winter schedule, prompting the airline to enhance its services. Beginning October 2024, Eurowings will operate daily flights from Berlin to Dubai, increasing from four times a week, and from Stuttgart to Dubai three times a week, up from twice.
Eurowings CEO Jens Bischof expressed excitement over the route's success, citing the combination of appealing flight times, competitive prices starting at 179 euros, and swift direct connections as key factors in their decision to ramp up frequencies for the next winter season.
Expanding into Saudi Arabia, Eurowings introduces a new destination to its route network. Starting winter 2024/25, the airline will connect travelers to the Red Sea city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, from Berlin and Cologne three times a week, marking its first foray into the Saudi market.
The enhanced winter schedule for November 2024 includes:
- From Berlin: A significant increase to seven weekly flights to Dubai and three weekly flights to the new destination, Jeddah.
- From Cologne: Three weekly flights to the newly added Jeddah.
- From Stuttgart: An increase to three weekly flights to Dubai.
This expansion reflects Eurowings' commitment to bringing more sunny destinations to its winter schedule and its continuous effort to cater to the growing demand for travel to the Gulf region.
