Emirates opens first Japan travel store in Osaka

Emirates has officially opened its first dedicated travel store in Japan, choosing the vibrant city of Osaka as the launch location. Located in the bustling commercial district of Umeda, the 110-square-meter Emirates Osaka Travel Store offers a personalized, luxurious environment where customers can plan their journeys with expert guidance.
The opening ceremony was attended by senior representatives including Emirates EVP Nabil Sultan, Osaka Governor Hirofumi Yoshimura, and the UAE Ambassador to Japan, H.E. Shihab Alfaheem, alongside local dignitaries and media.
“Japan is a vital market for Emirates,” said Sultan. “This new space reflects our customer-first philosophy and strengthens our connection with the Kansai community.”
A new level of travel planning experience
The store is designed with modern elegance—featuring soft beige lounge chairs, contemporary finishes, and a calming atmosphere. Visitors are assisted by multilingual travel consultants who can provide flight booking support, curated itineraries, and destination insights. Additional features include a self-service kiosk, a digital queue management system, and an interactive selfie mirror with rotating Emirates destination backdrops.
Catering to both local and international travelers, the store aims to make Emirates’ premium service more accessible and personalized. It reflects the airline’s continued investment in customer experience and local engagement.
Emirates currently operates daily flights to Osaka Kansai, Tokyo Narita, and Tokyo Haneda, deploying retrofitted aircraft with enhanced products across its Japanese network.
The Osaka Travel Store is open Monday to Friday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. It remains closed on weekends and public holidays.
