Elon Musk plans rocket travel between our planet's biggest cities

The founder of SpaceX unveiled his plans of long distance traveling by using the same rocket system prepared for Moon and Mars trips.
The voyages would only take 30 minutes, enabling tourists to go anywhere on Earth for the same costs of an economy air-carrier ticket.
The plan is to build a mega-rocket named BFR. The construction is set to begin in the next six to nine months. According to Mr. Musk’s plans, the same rocket can also be used to send people to Mars by 2024.
By using flying pads installed in the world's biggest cities, the routes proposed in the video presented by SpaceX include: Hong Kong to Singapore - 22 minutes, London to Dubai or New York - 29 minutes, and Los Angeles to Toronto - 24 minutes.
The speed of the rockets is estimated to be about 18.000 miles per hour, the fastest ever in the history of human kind. Moreover, the ships will be able to carry between 80 and 200 people per each trip.
On the other hand, there are other issues to be discussed, such as the quality of the passengers’ experience and the landing of the rockets, two problems that still need to be assesed.
Future details about the air travel market Musk aims to conquer with its latest innovation have not yet been disclosed.
