Pegasus Opens New Maintenance Centre at Sabiha Gökçen

Pegasus Airlines has officially opened a new aircraft maintenance centre at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport, marking a major upgrade in its technical operations and service capabilities.

 

The new facility is designed to support the airline’s expanding fleet with advanced maintenance, repair and overhaul services. It will play a crucial role in ensuring aircraft readiness and reliability, helping Pegasus maintain high operational standards across its network.

Located within the airport’s technical area, the maintenance centre features modern equipment and specialised workspaces to handle a range of aircraft tasks. Pegasus says the expansion strengthens its ability to conduct routine checks, technical inspections and more complex maintenance work on site.

Executives at Pegasus highlighted that the investment reflects the carrier’s long-term commitment to operational excellence and self-sufficiency, reducing dependence on external service providers and enhancing turnaround efficiency.
