easyJet’s Fearless Flyer Course Returns This Autumn

easyJet has relaunched its popular Fearless Flyer course, aimed at helping nervous flyers overcome their fear of flying. Running from September 2025 to January 2026, the course will be held at eight airports across the UK, including Jersey for the first time.
Since its launch in 2012, over 14,000 people have completed the programme, which boasts a 95% success rate. Priced from £89, it remains one of the UK’s most affordable aerophobia courses.
Course Locations & Dates:

-
Manchester – Sun, 12 Oct
-

How It Works:
The course includes:
-
Virtual Ground Session – An easyJet captain and fear specialist Lawrence Leyton explain what to expect on board and teach techniques to manage anxiety.
-
Pre-Flight Zoom Session – A live Q&A with the Fearless Flyer team, including former phobics, pilots, and course director Mark Wein.
-
Experience Flight – A live one-hour flight with running commentary from the Fearless Flyer team, designed to apply learned techniques in real time.
Mark Wein, who overcame his own fear of flying, says the course’s success comes from “demystifying the flying experience” and offering practical tools, not just reassurance.
Fiona Deans, who took the 200th course earlier this year, said:
"I hadn’t flown in 18 years until this morning. The crew were incredibly supportive. I wish I’d done it years ago."
With one in six people estimated to fear flying, easyJet hopes the course will continue changing lives, just as it has for thousands.
