easyJet Launches Twilight Bag Drop at Birmingham
easyJet has launched its free Twilight Bag Drop service at Birmingham Airport, giving passengers on early morning flights the option to check in their luggage the evening before departure.
Available from 5 January, the service allows customers flying before 09:00 to drop their bags between 16:00 and 20:00 on the day prior to travel. By using Twilight Bag Drop, passengers can skip the bag drop process on the morning of departure and proceed directly to security, helping to reduce waiting times and make journeys smoother.
As part of the service, customers are also eligible for discounted parking for up to one hour in the airport’s Premium Set Down car park. To access the discount, passengers simply need to present their bag drop receipt when exiting the car park.
The introduction of Twilight Bag Drop at Birmingham expands easyJet’s range of services designed to simplify travel, alongside options such as self-service bag drop, special assistance, and family-friendly luggage allowances. The airline says the service is particularly beneficial for families, winter sports travellers, and passengers heading off on early holidays during peak travel periods such as February half term and Easter.
The service is already available at several other UK airports, including London Gatwick, London Luton, Bristol, Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Belfast. With Birmingham now added to the list, easyJet continues to roll out measures aimed at improving convenience across its UK network.
According to easyJet, the expansion reflects ongoing efforts to offer passengers greater flexibility and value while streamlining the airport experience for early departures.
