EasyJet Establishes New Routes in Norway

From the end of October, easyJet, Europe’s second-largest low-cost airline, will introduce new routes at Oslo and Tromsø airports, marking a significant expansion of its network in Norway.

Enhanced Connectivity for Norwegian and International Travelers

Joachim Lupnaav Johnsen, Executive Vice President of Commercial Management and Development at Avinor, expressed excitement about the expansion:

Growth of Tromsø as a Winter Destination

Tromsø has seen substantial growth as a winter destination, attracting 320,000 international visitors from October 2022 to April 2023, with expectations of reaching 350,000 this season. The increase is driven by direct flights and improved tourist offerings such as northern lights hunting, whale safaris, and reindeer sledding. EasyJet’s introduction of seven new routes to Tromsø, each with two weekly frequencies, will further enhance this growth.

EasyJet’s New Routes to Tromsø and Oslo
