easyJet Adds Three New Summer Routes to Italy & Portugal

Budget carrier easyJet has announced three new summer 2026 routes from the UK to popular destinations in Italy and Portugal, further expanding its network and offering travellers greater choice for city breaks and leisure travel.

From its new base at Newcastle International Airport, easyJet will launch twice-weekly flights to Rome Fiumicino beginning 30 March 2026, timed for the Easter holiday period. The airline will also introduce twice-weekly services to Lisbon from 22 June 2026, targeting summer city-break travellers.

In addition, easyJet will operate a twice-weekly Manchester–Bari service from 3 July 2026, opening up direct connections to southern Italy’s coastal region. All three routes are expected to operate on Mondays and Fridays, catering to both weekend travellers and holidaymakers seeking affordable travel options.

Tickets for the new services are already on sale via easyJet’s website and mobile app, with introductory fares starting from around £33.99 one way. easyJet holidays packages including flights and hotel options will also be available for customers interested in bundled travel deals.

According to easyJet, these additions are part of its biggest flying programme ever, reflecting continued growth as the airline celebrates its 30th year and aims to offer more than 50 million seats to and from the UK during summer 2026.
