DXB Hits 46M Passengers in Record H1 2025 Performance

Airlines & Airports

Dubai International (DXB) has reported 46 million passengers in the first six months of 2025, marking its busiest first half on record. The 2.3% year-on-year growth highlights DXB’s resilience and Dubai’s robust aviation sector, despite temporary regional airspace disruptions in May and June.

In Q2 alone, DXB handled 22.5 million guests, a 3.1% increase over 2024, with April setting a new monthly record of 8 million passengers. January remains the busiest month so far, reaching 8.5 million guests.

Paul Griffiths, CEO of Dubai Airports, said:
"This record-breaking first half underscores the agility of our operations and the strength of Dubai as a global hub. As we head into a busy winter with the Dubai Airshow 2025, we’re on track to reach 96 million passengers for the year, moving closer to the symbolic 100 million milestone."
