Dublin Airport unveils “Park & Slide” rooftop parking concept

Dublin Airport has announced a new premium parking concept called “Park & Slide,” offering passengers a unique and fast way to reach departures.

The service allows travellers to park on the rooftop level of Terminal 1 before accessing the terminal via enclosed slides, transporting them from the top deck to departures in around eight seconds.

Designed as a seasonal experience running from May to September, the concept combines convenience with entertainment. Passengers can enjoy rooftop parking, hands-free bag drop handled by airport staff and direct access to security screening upon arrival inside the terminal.

Additional features include priority slide lanes for faster access, as well as family-friendly options and group bookings.

Prices start at €7 per person or €20 for a family of four, with limited capacity available and advance booking recommended.

Airport representatives described the initiative as part of a broader effort to enhance the passenger journey, blending efficiency with a memorable travel experience.

Inspired by Ireland’s growing popularity of outdoor attractions and elevated experiences, the concept aims to add a fun and distinctive touch to the start of a trip.
