Delta to Launch First-Ever Nonstop Service from Atlanta to Riyadh

Airlines & Airports

Delta Air Lines has announced it will launch its first-ever nonstop service to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, beginning October 2026. The new route will operate three times a week from Delta’s Atlanta hub (ATL) to Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport (RUH), marking a strategic expansion into the Middle East and Delta’s entry into the Saudi market.

“Launching service to Riyadh marks a key step in Delta’s global growth as we start our second century of flight,” said Ed Bastian, CEO of Delta Air Lines. “Our new flights will connect customers to this dynamic, fast-growing region while delivering the care, comfort and reliability they expect.”

A Premium Experience to a Visionary Capital

The route will be operated by Delta’s Airbus A350-900, featuring:

  • Delta One® with lie-flat seats, chef-curated meals, and Missoni-designed amenity kits

  • Delta Premium Select, with wider seats, deeper recline, and elevated service

  • Delta Comfort+ and Main Cabin, both offering Delta Studio, curated inflight dining, and free Delta Sync Wi-Fi for SkyMiles Members

Riyadh: Culture, Commerce, and Connection

As Saudi Arabia accelerates its Vision 2030 transformation, Riyadh is emerging as a global hub for business, tourism, and innovation. Delta’s new route reflects growing ties between the U.S. and Saudi Arabia, boosting opportunities for both leisure and corporate travel.

“We welcome Delta to Riyadh,” said Ahmed Al-Khateeb, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Tourism. “This milestone strengthens global connectivity between our nations and opens new doors for tourism, cultural exchange, and business.”

A Gateway for U.S.–Saudi Travel

The new service will also provide seamless one-stop access to 150+ U.S. cities via Atlanta, creating a direct bridge for Saudi travelers to explore North America.
