Singapore’s Acting Minister for Transport and Senior Minister of State for Finance, Jeffrey Siow, has officially launched T5 In the Making, an immersive public exhibition showcasing the vision and planning behind Changi Airport’s upcoming Terminal 5 (T5).

The exhibition is jointly organised by the Ministry of Transport, the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, and Changi Airport Group. It will run from 6 January to March 2026 at Terminal 3’s Arrival Hall and is open to the public free of charge.

Since public registration opened on 15 December 2025, around 15,000 visitors have already signed up to attend. The launch event was also attended by Sun Xueling, along with representatives from across the airport and aviation community.

T5 In the Making is designed to tell a single, cohesive story through five experiential zones, tracing how aviation has shaped Singapore’s development and how Terminal 5 will support future growth. Visitors are guided from Changi Airport’s early relocation from Paya Lebar through to an in-depth exploration of T5’s scale, architectural concepts, and operational innovations.

The exhibition highlights technologies being developed to address key challenges such as manpower constraints, an ageing population, and climate change. The final zone invites visitors to engage with interactive artificial intelligence experiences and view detailed scale models of Terminal 5 and the wider Changi East development.

Admission is free, with visit slots available on a first-come, first-served basis and each booking accommodating up to five people. Walk-in visits are also accepted, subject to capacity. In addition, ticket holders can access exclusive dining and shopping promotions across Changi Airport’s terminals, as well as special offers from selected Changi-affiliated attractions and retailers.

The exhibition provides the public with an early and detailed look at one of Singapore’s most significant upcoming infrastructure projects, reinforcing Changi Airport’s role in the country’s long-term aviation strategy.
