Caption by Hyatt opens first hotel in Chattanooga

Hyatt has opened its first property in Chattanooga, Tennessee, with the launch of Caption by Hyatt Chattanooga Downtown, marking a significant expansion of the brand in the United States.

 

Located in the city’s Southside District, the 123-room hotel introduces a design-focused concept that blends accommodation, dining and social spaces into a community-driven environment. The property is operated by LBA Hospitality and developed by 3H Group.

The opening reflects the continued growth of Chattanooga as a travel destination, with the Southside neighborhood evolving into a hub for arts, dining and entertainment.

Caption by Hyatt Chattanooga Downtown features modern guest rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows, flexible layouts and smart technology, alongside amenities designed for both leisure and business travelers.

The hotel also introduces several food and beverage concepts, including a ground-floor restaurant focused on locally inspired cuisine and a rooftop lounge offering views of the city and surrounding landscape.

Additional spaces include a flexible lobby concept that transitions throughout the day, as well as meeting and event areas designed for both corporate and social gatherings.

The property is part of the growing Caption by Hyatt brand, which continues to expand globally with locations in cities including Nashville, Tokyo and Sydney.

Hyatt said the opening supports its strategy of creating lifestyle-focused hotels that connect with local communities while offering distinctive guest experiences.
