British Airways and British Airways Holidays have launched their annual September Sale, offering discounted flights and holiday packages across the airline’s global network.
Running until September 29, 2026, the promotion covers travel across Europe, North America, the Caribbean and a range of long-haul destinations, with offers available for trips extending into 2027.
Among the headline fares are return flights to New York from £410, Miami from £515 and Melbourne from £846. British Airways Holidays is also offering packages including New York from £599 per person, Tenerife from £369 per person and the Maldives from £1,369 per person.
New York, Miami and Melbourne Among Discounted Flights
British Airways is offering return economy flights from London to New York from £410. The airline said New York was its most searched-for route during the previous week.
Miami, which ranked second among searches, is available from £515 return.
Other long-haul offers include Barbados from £523 return, while fares to Melbourne start at £846. The Australian city is among the newer destinations in British Airways’ network.
Discounts are also available in Club Europe, the airline’s short-haul business class cabin.
Return Club Europe fares start from £328 to Barcelona, £349 to Rome and £361 to Nice.
British Airways Holidays Offers Packages into 2027
British Airways Holidays is using the sale to target travellers already planning trips for next year, with the company reporting increased searches for several 2027 destinations.
Searches for holidays to Colombo have risen by 113%, according to the company. British Airways is due to begin direct flights to Sri Lanka from October 23, with seven-night holiday packages available in the sale from £749 per person.
Las Vegas searches for 2027 are up 19%, with four-night packages starting from £739 per person.
Demand for European holidays is also growing. Searches for Madeira have increased by 27%, with seven-night packages starting from £479 per person. Malaga is available from £319 per person for seven nights, while Cyprus packages start from £429 per person.
British Airways said searches for 2027 holidays to Malaga and Cyprus have increased by 24% and 17%, respectively.
“We know many customers are already thinking about their next break and looking for opportunities to escape the everyday,” said Andrew Flintham, Managing Director of British Airways Holidays.
“Whether it’s a relaxing beach escape, a cultural city break or an unforgettable far-flung adventure, our September Sale offers great value on flights and holidays across our network.”
Up to 20,000 Bonus Avios Available
Between August 27 and September 1, members of The British Airways Club can collect up to 20,000 bonus Avios when booking qualifying British Airways Holidays packages in the sale.
The offer applies to travel up to and including August 31, 2027, with the number of bonus Avios determined by the length of the holiday.
British Airways Holidays customers can secure packages with deposits starting from £60 per person and pay the remaining balance through instalments.
Members of The British Airways Club can also earn one Tier Point for every £1 spent on qualifying holiday packages, alongside Avios earned on the total value of their booking.
Holiday Deals Across Europe, North America and the Caribbean
Among the European packages included in the sale is a seven-night stay at the four-star Alcazar Hotel & SPA in the Algarve from £319 per person for selected November 2026 departures.
A seven-night January 2027 stay at the five-star Kimpton Atlantico Algarve starts from £549 per person, while seven nights at El Fuerte Marbella near Malaga start from £929 per person for selected November dates.
Further afield, British Airways Holidays is offering three nights in New York from £599 per person and three nights in Toronto from the same price for selected January and February 2027 travel.
Seven nights in Orlando start from £669 per person.
Caribbean and Indian Ocean offers include seven all-inclusive nights in Antigua from £1,079 per person, seven nights in Mauritius from £1,119 and seven nights in St. Lucia from £819.
The listed British Airways Holidays packages combine flights and accommodation and generally include one checked bag per passenger. Some destinations have additional resort, tourism or environmental fees payable locally.
The September Sale runs until September 29, with fares and packages subject to availability.
